About This Project

The Problem: In the Oti Region of Ghana, communities like Likpe-Nkwanta, Kodjofe, Lolobi-Kofeme, Akpafu-Menpeasem, and Lolobi-Kumasi face a daily struggle for survival.

Without access to clean drinking water, families are at risk of life-threatening waterborne diseases.

Women and girls spend hours each day walking miles to collect water from unsafe sources, robbing them of the chance to go to school and build a better future.

Our Solution: The Francis Onai Charity Organisation (FOCOGH) is launching "Springs of Hope," a project dedicated to installing sustainable clean water systems in these five communities. Our plan is to drill and mechanize five new boreholes, providing a safe and reliable water source that will transform lives.

Your Impact: With your help, we can:

Improve Health: Reduce waterborne diseases by 70%.

  • Empower Education: Increase school attendance for children, especially girls, by 50%.
  • Transform Lives: Provide safe, clean water for 5,000 individuals and 550 households.
  • Build a Sustainable Future: Establish community-managed water systems that will last for generations.
